How to communicate with us

New Digital Front Door

We have introduced a new way of accessing our services. Patients should now use our online consultation form (available through SystmOnline or our website) as the main method of contacting the practice.

This means that instead of calling or coming to the surgery to book appointments, patients are asked to submit their request online. The form is quick to complete and helps us make sure you are directed to the most appropriate clinician – whether that is a GP, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, or Pharmacist.

We understand a very small number of patients may not be able to use the internet themselves or with the help of a relative, carer, or friend. In these exceptional cases, our reception team can complete a form over the phone on the patient’s behalf – but we encourage everyone who can to use the online form directly.

This system means you no longer need to wait on the phone at 8am or queue outside. It also allows us to make the best use of our limited NHS resources and respond more efficiently to patient needs.

We know continuity matters. If you have an ongoing issue, please let us know who has been managing your care and we will try to keep this consistent.

Prescriptions must now be ordered using the NHS App. This is the safest way and also allows you to view your results without contacting the surgery.

Please make sure you are signed up for SMS messages so that we can update you quickly about appointments, results, and other important matters.

The Patient Triage solution allows patients to submit either a medical query or an administrative request to their registered GP practice.
